Award Winners Return To Lamma
As Lamma celebrates 40 years of the very best in agricultural equipment, long-standing and multi award-winning exhibitors Martin Lishman Ltd will once again embrace the NEC to show off the latest in crop storage technology.
Lamma 2019 saw Martin Lishman win the gold innovation award for ImpacTrack – a low-cost shock sensor inside a synthetic food shape that finds sources of damage and helps to reduce fresh produce waste during processing and transport. Three years on, over 35 ImpacTrack shapes are now available, all engineered to behave like the real thing. They mimic produce ranging from a mussel to a pineapple, including highly sensitive produce such as apples and avocados.
Back in 2012 Martin Lishman won the LAMMA best new product award for their Barn Owl Wireless system, which enables store managers to monitor temperatures remotely and control crop store fans automatically via a cloud-based portal, removing the need to manually check temperatures and turn cooling fans on and off.
“We have had a surge in farmers approaching us for Barn Owl Wireless systems”, comments Joel Capper, Martin Lishman’s Sales Director. “It’s clear that farmers want a slice of the system’s benefits. These include faster cooling times at reduced energy costs, helping users to maintain a higher quality yield and recording their store history for crop assurance”.
Barn Owl Wireless is commonly used with Martin Lishman’s FloorVent underfloor ventilation system, StoreVent building ventilation and Pile-Dry Pedestals and Fans to create a complete versatile cooling system; all of which will be displayed on the Martin Lishman Stand (Hall 7, Stand 7.460) at Lamma 2022.
